Tools can only ever be as profitable and efficient as the people who operate them. This is especially true for software. Complex processes in particular—such as the organization of tools and their digital management in a manufacturing facility—require qualified personnel. Only with such personnel can the full benefits of digitized processes, all the way up to a smart factory, be fully realized.
Practical Focus
That is why ZOLLER offers in-depth training courses at its Smart Factory in Pleidelsheim. These are specifically designed for technical staff in manufacturing companies. They are primarily based on the standard work steps in manufacturing companies. To this end, the specialists at ZOLLER have built a complete smart factory. In addition to standard turning and milling centers, it encompasses the entire spectrum of ZOLLER’s extensive product portfolio. This includes setting and measuring devices, inspection and measuring equipment, automation systems, storage systems, shrink-fitting and balancing machines, tool holders, and tool management solutions. In this way, participants in the one-day and multi-day training courses at ZOLLER can apply their knowledge and skills in a practical manner and in direct relation to real-world workflows. This applies not only to individual work steps but also comprehensively to a largely automated, digitized production process.
Tailored to individual needs
Training sessions and workshops on specific topics are held with approximately five to eight participants each. This enables trainers and instructors to address specific questions and requirements. Additionally, course content and focal points are tailored to the participants’ respective level of knowledge and experience. This ensures optimal efficiency.
In addition to some standardized training courses, the specialists at ZOLLER focus on specifically tailored training sessions. Within just a few days, participants receive the necessary know-how and extensive qualifications in a compact and focused manner, enabling them to use ZOLLER’s hardware and software products efficiently and reliably.
In theory and practice
This applies in particular to tool management with ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions. First, seminar participants learn basic functions and work steps through training in small groups. This includes, for example, creating and saving master data as well as checking tools, operating and measuring equipment, and fixtures in and out. Participants learn details about the modular structure of the ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions system and the resulting possibilities for comprehensive tool organization and management. Tailored to their individual needs, they learn the functions and operation of the software modules relevant to them. Following intensive theoretical training in the classrooms, practical application takes place directly on the shop floor of the ZOLLER Smart Factory in Pleidelsheim. As a result, training and continuing education at ZOLLER lead to sound, practice-oriented expertise. Participants can immediately apply this knowledge in practice at their respective manufacturing companies to work efficiently and productively.
