Flexibly configurable 

The "Orders and Regrinding Orders" software module can be quickly and easily adapted to the different formal settings of different manufacturing companies. This allows you to freely parameterize the formats of the lists of tools to be purchased, their contents, and the dates or events for the lists to be generated automatically. For example, lists can be generated and displayed at specific intervals (daily, weekly) or when stock levels fall below a minimum level. In addition, additional lists of tools to be purchased or reground can be generated and displayed manually at any time. To this end, you can specify additional criteria, such as the type of tools and the company's cost centers. 

For purchase orders to be issued automatically, operational staff can specify individual formats for e-mails, print reports, and data records. In addition, they can freely determine the content of purchase orders. For example, in addition to internal descriptions and article codes, the names and order codes, costs, and packaging units (if available in the master data) of the respective manufacturers can also be recorded in the orders. 

The Order and Regrinding Management software module is also flexible with regard to tool stock in the ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions software. If, for example, there is an additional requirement for individual tools (beyond the minimum stock levels stored) for production orders that vary at short notice, specialists can create and send additional orders manually. The minimum stock levels stored remain unchanged. 

For maximum flexibility, purchase orders can first be created and saved until further criteria for sending an order are met. In this way, manufacturing companies can, among other things, take minimum order quantities into account. Thanks to orders with flexible deadlines, they can also benefit from volume discounts and minimized packaging costs for grouped deliveries. 

Directly or through a commercial organization 

When sending orders, manufacturing companies can choose the procedure that best suits their needs. On the one hand, the software module can send orders that have been recorded and initiated as data records, as a paper printout, or as an email to the manufacturer. On the other hand, it can also generate data records with freely selectable content from the proposed orders and send them to a higher-level ERP system. Therefore, the software modules for orders and regrinding orders are suitable, on the one hand, for small and medium-sized companies where individual specialists are in direct contact with manufacturers and regrinding companies. On the other hand, larger companies with separate technical and commercial organizational structures can also benefit from them. In the latter case, the commercial departments receive comprehensive and, above all, reliable information on the tools to be purchased. This ensures carefully coordinated collaboration and maximum security for the internal process. This avoids time-consuming and costly requests for clarification or even incorrect purchases. 

Continuous updating 

Of course, the software modules for orders and regrinding requests record goods receipts. Specialized personnel are free to choose the further internal procedures. In this way, it is possible to directly specify storage locations for incoming tools or automatically generate internal orders to the corresponding departments, for example, for the tool warehouse with the Warehouse Management software module. This applies both to goods receipt after purchase from tool manufacturers and to re-storage after the return of reground tools.
