The HGH-UZ Universalaufnahme enables quick, simple, and μm-accurate tool holder changes via a ball bushing with a quick-change mechanism for tension elements of any execution. It is equipped with a 4 x 90° locking mechanism for precise holding of lathe tools, as well as a power-operated spindle brake, and can be delivered with autofocus and/or a rotation sensor.
Adapter tool posts are available for virtually all tool holders—including those for Citizen, Gildemeister, Haas, Hardinge, Hydromat, Index, Mazak, Mori-Seiki, Okuma, Star, Traub, and many more.
The GA base holder is set up for manual adapter changes. Adapters are delivered for virtually all types of tool holders and are all equipped with manual tool clamping.
Tool holders can be delivered for virtually all tooling and machine systems, such as Benzinger, Comau, Dörries, Imac, Index, Mori-Seiki, Nakamura, Schütte, Star, Takisawa, Tornos, Traub, and many more.
For safety reasons, the center height measuring device—which features a swivelling CCD incident light camera and centered LED illumination—is swiveled in during standardized measurements. To measure tool cutting edges using incident light, the camera can be swivelled and rotated into three positions. This allows tools to be measured from the front as well as from the left and right, depending on the cutting direction of the tools.
