We recommend »idLabel« primarily for turning tools and fixtures, since they are not used in a rotating manner. For rotating tools, the »idChip« is the better choice. It is secured in the holder, where it is protected yet still clearly visible. Attaching the »idChip« is simple; you can use two-component adhesive for this. You can purchase this adhesive from us or obtain it from other suppliers.

When it comes to tool holders, ZOLLER works closely with Schüssler as a partner. Schüssler manufactures the tool holders, while ZOLLER supplies the »idChip« and makes purchasing tool holders simple, fast, and convenient through the new ZOLLER Webshop.

Balanced tool holders increase productivity. The positive results of using balanced tool holders are visible in many areas of the machining process. Longer tool and spindle life, as well as higher material removal rates, are just a few of the factors that can significantly reduce production costs.
